Can-Lit Savvy Test
A quick one today as I’m on deadline. How many of the authors in this old photo can you name without cheating? Not that you would, of course. Cheat, that is. Extra points if you can name some of their books. If I had access to a police artist, I'd age the faces for you, but they don't look that much different today.

Sheila Heti, Michael Winters, Margaret Atwood, I dunno who and Ken Babstock?
oops, Winter, sorry.
?, ?, Margaret Atwood, Timothy Findley, David Adams Richards.
And seeing Anne's comment, I think she's right about Michael Winters, but it would be cheating to add him now.
Do we also get extra points if we say where this photo comes from? I'm in the mood to win.
p.s. I know who the other guy is, too, but since I had to look that up, I won't say his name, because that might be cheating.
That would definitely be cheating, Anne. All will be revealed and points awarded at the end of the day but, yes, you can say where this photo comes from if you knew it without looking it up.
An Anansi promotion. I had it in bookmark form.
Okay, Anne's the big winner with four early points and an additional extra credit point.
The literary felons in the Anansi line-up are: Sheila Heti, Michael Winter, Margaret Atwood, Thomas King, and Ken Babstock.
Thanks for playing, Anne and Andrew. (I guess it was of interest only to people whose names begin with "A.")
I would have cited book titles, but I wanted others to chime in, and Atwood alone was kind of daunting. ;)
