Mele Kalikimaka

I wish you all happiness and health. In the New Year, I urge all of you to look upon the things that make you happy rather than the things that make you sad.

Mele Kalikimaka is the thing to say
On a bright Hawaiian Christmas Day
That's the island greeting that we send to you
From the land where palm trees sway
Here we know that Christmas will be green and bright
The sun to shine by day and all the stars at night
Mele Kalikimaka is Hawaii's way
To say "Merry Christmas to you."

Mele kalikimaka to you, too, Steve. We spent a Christmas in Hawaii when my son was stationed there in the Marines. It was wonderful. Are you missing it today?

I'm visualizing Chevy Chase staring out the window at an imaginary pool right now.

Happy Boxing Day!
