Esme Distroboto-ing in Illustrated Form

I found this drawing of my daughter Esme's yesterday while cleaning off my desk. At first, I didn't know what exactly it was a drawing of, then I saw that the teacher had so kindly dated it, January 24, the day after Esme and I'd gone art collecting at one of Montreal's Distroboto machines. I wonder what the teacher made of it!

Cute picture!

What a great gift to find on your desk. It's like the time I found a little Spiderman action figure at the bottom of my purse.

Priceless.

I always carry an action figure in my purse. Doesn't everyone?

I see why you chose the comedy writing workshop!

You're hilarious!

I still haven't written that joke, though. I think the comedy workshop might be too much of a stretch.

I'm not sure I could do it.

I have a great sense of humour, but I can't tell a joke well and I can't imagine writing funny stuff.

I understand what you mean when you say too much of a stretch.

That Esme is such a great draw-er (Did you hear my Mike Myers Simon voice in there?). Obviously, your adventure left an indelible impression the budding artiste!

Are you going to be sharing Comedy workshop tidbits with us?

You're right - Esme is quite the artist. I like what she's wearing in the drawing...
