... and I'm making myself a promise not to eat the first, second and third apple I pick. Don't do it, man. Just don't do it! And bring a hat, and don't forget to hard-boil some eggs.

I've just started a short story that begins with some apple-picking. Then again, I hadn't considered that it IS that time of year. How much do you pick? What are some of the things you make with your haul? Share!
